Since January 2023, ABCircular has been evaluating a new laser-based process in terms of sustainability and occupational safety aspects as part of the EU project CLASCO (‘Climate Neutral and Digitalised Laser Based Surface Functionalisation of Parts with Complex Geometry’) in a consortium with 13 European partners.
In addition to the ecological and economic assessment, the social framework conditions of the process are also being evaluated.
The project is funded by the EU Horizon Framework Programme for Research and Innovation.
