PV_Loops

The main objective of PV_Loops is to develop a resilient closed-loop recycling process for c-Si PV modules and to test its transferability to other module types. Together with our partners (IME at RWTH Aachen University, University of Wolverhampton and iBiotech Ltd.), we are developing a process for recycling PV modules in such a way that all materials are recovered in the highest quality. The process steps used will meet the highest sustainability criteria. In addition, the recycled materials will be used to manufacture new, flexible solar cells.

The project (Fkz.: KK5624302 GM4) is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection as part of the Central Innovation Programme for SMEs on the basis of a resolution of the German Bundestag.
